SMARDEX USDN (USDM) refers to the USDM stablecoin within the SMARDEX ecosystem. USDM is a stablecoin associated with Waves and the Neutrino Protocol, designed to be pegged to the US Dollar. Similar to the original USDN, USDM aimed to provide a stable digital asset. However, USDN itself experienced significant depegging issues and the Neutrino Protocol is undergoing winding down processes as of late 2023/early 2024. Therefore, the stability and reliability of USDM are tied to the status of the underlying Neutrino/Waves infrastructure. It was intended for use in trading, lending, and other DeFi activities requiring stability, but its current utility is severely impacted by the state of the associated protocol.
