BounceBit is a project focused on building a BTC Restaking Chain, aiming to create a novel mechanism that allows Bitcoin holders to earn yield on their BTC by participating in securing decentralized networks. Unlike traditional staking which requires native chain assets, BounceBit proposes a system where users can restake their Bitcoin (or yield-bearing derivatives of Bitcoin) to secure its proof-of-stake network and potentially other protocols.
