RMRK (RMRK) is a system of NFT legos and protocols built on the Kusama network (Polkadot's canary network). RMRK aims to create a standard for "composable NFTs" that can own other NFTs, change appearance, emit other NFTs, and interact in complex ways, going beyond simple ownership. RMRK token is the native utility and governance token for the RMRK protocol. It is used for minting and interacting with RMRK 2.0 NFTs, participating in staking programs, and participating in the decentralized governance of the RMRK ecosystem, voting on proposals for protocol development and standards. The token underpins the advanced NFT functionality and composability on Kusama.
