BarnBridge (BOND) is a decentralized protocol for tokenizing risk. It allows users to tranche cryptocurrency yields and risks into separate, tradeable tokens (Senior and Junior tranches), providing fixed-income-like opportunities in DeFi or leveraged exposure to yield. BOND token is the governance token for the BarnBridge protocol. Holders of BOND can propose and vote on changes to the protocol, including the creation of new yield tranches, adjustments to risk models, and treasury management. BOND is also used to incentivize participation and security within the protocol, empowering the community to govern the risk tranching framework.
